How to prepare baby formula
STEP 1
Boil fresh drinking water first, then let it cool to 120°F (50°C)* before preparing the bottle. Water that is too hot can burn your baby and may damage important nutrients included in the formula.
STEP 2
Pour 2/3 of the required amount of boiled water into a clean, sterilized feeding bottle.
STEP 3
Using the measuring scoop provided, loosely fill the scoop with formula powder and level it off. Do not pack the powder down. Add the recommended number of scoops to the feeding bottle to avoid using too much formula.
STEP 4
Close the feeding bottle tightly and shake vigorously until the powder is completely dissolved.
STEP 5
Add the remaining boiled water to the bottle, then close it and shake well again until everything is fully mixed.
STEP 6
Cool the prepared formula to drinking temperature, about 98°F (37°C). Always test a few drops on the inside of your wrist before feeding. It should feel warm, not hot.
