HiPP Dutch HA 1 Combiotik Baby Formula is a gentle, no-starch, hydrolysed formula suitable from birth to 6 months and can be used as a complete replacement for breastfeeding or alongside breast milk. Made in Germany for the Dutch market, HiPP Dutch HA Stage 1 is carefully formulated for babies at risk of allergies, babies with cow’s milk protein sensitivity, or little ones with sensitive digestion.

The milk proteins are partially hydrolyzed, meaning they are broken down into smaller, simpler structures that are easier for sensitive babies to tolerate. This helps reduce the likelihood of triggering allergic reactions and makes the formula gentler on developing digestive systems.

HiPP HA 1 includes prebiotics and probiotics for healthy gut, plus vitamins A, C, and D, along with Omega-3 and Omega-6 LCPs to support healthy brain, eye, and immune development. Vitamin D also supports calcium absorption and bone growth, helping provide complete nutritional support from birth.

For successful allergy prevention, babies should consistently receive only hydrolyzed protein during the first 4-6 months. Preparation and storage

1. Boil fresh drinking water first, then let it cool to 120°F (50°C) before preparing the bottle. Water that is too hot can damage important nutrients in the formula.

2. Pour 2/3 of the required amount of boiled water into a clean, sterilized feeding bottle.

3. Using the scoop provided, loosely fill it with formula powder and level it off. Do not press or pack the powder into the scoop. Add the recommended number of level scoops to the bottle.

4. Close the feeding bottle tightly and shake vigorously until the powder is completely dissolved.

5. Add the remaining boiled water to the bottle, then close it and shake well again until everything is fully mixed.

6. Cool the prepared formula to drinking temperature, about 98°F (37°C). Always test a few drops on the inside of your wrist before feeding. It should feel warm, not hot.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

1. Use only the scoop included in this box.
2. Do not add anything else to the formula mixture.
3. Prepare each bottle fresh right before feeding and feed immediately. After feeding, discard any leftover formula from an unfinished bottle.
4. Do not heat the formula in the microwave, as this can cause burns.
5. After opening, store the box closed in a dry place at room temperature. Use within 3 weeks (21 days).
6. The expiration date is written in European format: day/month/year.

We’ve been using HiPP formulas with our older child and now started Stage 1 HA for our newborn. It’s consistently gentle and never foamy. The cans always arrive in great condition. We tried a few other sensitive options and they were kind of heavy for him. HiPP HA Stage 1 feels lighter and my baby drinks it without any hesitations.
