Nutrition

Per 100 g, HiPP Organic Baby Cereal 100% Corn provides: 1601 kJ / 378 kcal of energy, 1.4 g of fat of which 0.1 g are saturated fatty acids, 81.8 g of carbohydrates including 1.6 g of sugars, 3.5 g of fiber, 7.7 g of protein, and less than 0.05 g of salt (sodium <0.02 g). It also contains 1.2 mg of vitamin B1 (240% of the reference intake).

Per 1 serving (22 g porridge flakes prepared with 100 ml water and 100 ml milk with 3.2% fat), the cereal provides: 621 kJ / 147 kcal of energy, 3.9 g of fat of which 2.2 g are saturated fatty acids, 22.7 g of carbohydrates including 5.1 g of sugars, 0.8 g of fiber, 5.0 g of protein, and 0.13 g of salt (sodium 0.05 g). It also contains 0.33 mg of vitamin B1 (60% of the reference intake).

The salt content is determined solely by the sodium naturally present in the product. Nutritional values may vary depending on the preparation method.

Preparation and storage

Preparation:

With milk mixture:

  1. Cool boiled water to a temperature of approximately +50ºC / +122ºF*. Prepare 200 ml of regular milk mixture.
  2. Add 3-4 tablespoons (22 g) of porridge flakes to a bowl.
  3. Pour in the prepared milk mixture and stir.
  4. Leave the porridge to swell. Cool to a suitable temperature for eating.

With fruit puree:

  1. Boil 100 ml of water and cool to +50ºC / +122ºF*.
  2. Add 2 heaped tablespoons of porridge flakes to a bowl, pour in water. Stir.
  3. Add approximately 100 g of fruit puree and a teaspoon of oil.
  4. Stir well, check the temperature.

With milk:

  1. Boil 100 ml of milk and 100 ml of water, cool to +50ºC / +122ºF*.
  2. Add 3-4 tablespoons (22 g) of flakes to a bowl, pour over the cooled liquid.
  3. Stir. Leave to swell.
  4. Check the temperature.

To ensure the powder dissolves better, do not use water that is too hot.

Storage:
Store unopened packaging at room temperature (max. +25ºC / +77ºF). After opening, store in a dry place at room temperature, close tightly after use. Consume within 3-4 weeks.
